Tarantula Nebula - 30 Doradus - NGC 2070
Located in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC)
160,000 light-years distance.
The estimated mass of the cluster is 450,000 solar masses.
The Tarantula Nebula has an apparent magnitude of 8, making it a very luminous formation for being ~49 kiloparsecs away.
The Tarantula Nebula is the most active starburst region in the Local Group of galaxies. 
It is also one of the largest such regions in the Local Group with an estimated diameter of 200 parsecs.
